From September 23 to 30, 2019, an information event, “Day of the Department of Political Science, Sociology and Social Communications,” was held in the reading room of the ONAT named after O.S. Popov researchers. The department teachers had the opportunity to get acquainted with the available professional educational literature, professional periodicals, journal articles, the book supply card index of the department’s disciplines, etc. The library staff provided consultations on the algorithm for searching for literature in the electronic catalog, the ONAT named after O.S. Popov Repository, and the preparation and execution of applications for educational literature and periodicals in the department’s profile. The effectiveness of students’ use of academic literature and electronic information resources was discussed.
