During her career, Diakun K.O. participated in scientific and practical conferences and has theses and articles of an educational and methodological nature.

Master’s degree in Language and Literature (English), qualification “Teacher of English Language and World Literature, Teacher of English Language and World Literature” (Master’s Degree issued by the State Institution “South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky”) 31.12.2020.

Diakun has been working in the higher education system since 2002, in particular in the following positions:

• English Teacher, Odessa Economic Lyceum, 2002-2006;
• Senior Laboratory Assistant of the Department of European Integration of the Odesa Regional Institute of Public Administration of the National Academy of Public Administration under the President of Ukraine, 2006-2007;
• Leading Specialist of the Editorial and Publishing Department of the Odesa Regional Institute of Public Administration of the National Academy of Public Administration under the President of Ukraine, 2007-2009;
• English Teacher, Odessa Law Lyceum of the Odessa City Council, 2017 – present;
• Senior Lecturer at the Department of Linguodidactics and Foreign Languages, State University of Intelligent Technologies and Communications, from September 2023 to the present.  

Research interests: innovative methods and technologies of teaching English, use of information and communication technologies, development of students’ communicative culture.

Member of the public organization “Ukrainian Branch of the International Association of Teachers of English as a Foreign Language” since 2023.
