The department provides teaching of fundamental engineering (technical) disciplines and trains specialists in the quality of products and services, metrological support, state supervision and standardization, certification and conformity assessment. Applicants for higher education can study full-time or part-time in the following specialties:

• Educational program “Quality Engineering” specialty 175(152) Information and measurement technologies for the second (master’s) level;
• Educational program “Educational Measurements” in specialty 011 Educational, pedagogical sciences for the second (master’s) level.
• Educational and scientific program “Information and measurement technologies” for specialty 175 (152) Information and measurement technologies, for the third (Doctor of Philosophy PHD) level.
