The prospects of psychology in the field of information technologies become a key factor for the department. The growing importance of psychological support in the IT sphere, human-technology interaction, and addressing cybersecurity issues opens new horizons in psychological science.

Strategic directions for the department’s development include improving software, scientific, and methodological support in line with high standards of the information technology industry. Emphasis is also placed on implementing innovative pedagogical methods for training professionals who can effectively deal with the challenges of the digital era.
